Secure Testing over The Internet
Platform Independence With very few exceptions, if the examinee's computer can support the Citrix control, The Examiner can deliver tests. What's more, the same suite of tools that is used to develop Examiner tests on your local machine can be used to develop tests for the internet. You don't have to learn two sets of skills: one for "traditional" delivery, and one for the internet. Once you have learned how to use The Examiner on your local machine, you are ready for internet testing. Try it out! Click the button to visit the Exam Vault, The Examiner's gateway to secure Internet testing. When you arrive, your computer will be examined to see if has the necessary Citrix Active-X control installed. If the control isn't present, you'll see a message in the lower-right corner of the screen asking if you want to download the control. If you want to see the demonstration, click on the link and install the control. At the login prompts, login as user "demo" with the password of "demo". After a short pause, you'll be taken to a screen where you can view a test administration demonstration. The administration software is available in both English and Spanish. Click on the language of your choice. After another pause, the test will begin. Having Trouble Connecting? Many organizations use a firewall to protect their network from intrusions. However, the firewall can sometimes block the Citrix connection from operating. The Citrix Corporation has provided a web page that discusses the issues between their thin-client system and firewalls. To read the article, click here. Let The Examiner Work for YOU! Contact The Examiner Corporation for information on how you can be delivering tests on the internet in a matter of days. |
